Federal Express does not telephone prior to delivering packages, and we cannot guarantee the time or date of delivery. Dan’s Chocolates is not responsible for:

  • Chocolates or other items delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender. We strongly recommend checking your order confirmation email for accuracy.
  • An incorrect delivery date selected at the time of order.
  • Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by the customer.
  • Decreased product quality due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by the sender, or a Federal Express re-route requested by the sender.
  • Chocolates that were refused by the recipient.
  • Chocolates that were delivered late due to weather delays affecting Fedex.

The Dan’s Chocolates Guarantee is valid for 60 days from the date of shipment.

Please note: Due to delivery restrictions and security requirements at many businesses and hospitals, Federal Express may not be allowed to deliver Dan’s Chocolates orders directly to the recipient. In these cases the Dan’s Chocolates orders will be delivered to the shipping and receiving departments and then to the recipient. Please understand that that this may create a delay in delivery.
